He was lucky that he got the chance to play the different characters in the films like wake up sid, Ajab prem ki gajab kahani , Rocket singh: Salesman of the year , raajneeti ,rockstar ,barfi  with some new and some reputated directors .

   

 Now ranbir kapoor's new film YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI  collected a net of Rs 62 crore during its first weekend, from 3,000 screens and  become a block buster film . In this week only film going to make 100 crore . Now new phase of ranbir kapoor started with more fans base .
